The fine print, in plain English.
Short version: Lease Check tells you what your documents say. It doesn't tell you what the law says about them — that's a job for an oil and gas attorney.
What Lease Check is
Lease Check is a free tool offered by Glenside Resources LLC. It reads the lease documents and royalty check stubs you upload and produces a plain-English summary of what those documents say, along with questions you may want to ask your operator or an attorney.
What Lease Check is not
It is not legal advice. Nothing in your review is a legal opinion or a recommendation to take, or not take, any action.
It is not a title opinion or a title examination. Determining whether an oil and gas lease remains in force requires examining the county records, regulatory records, and production history — none of which are part of this review.
It does not create an attorney–client relationship. Glenside Resources is an oil and gas company, not a law firm, and no one at Glenside Resources is acting as your attorney.
Accuracy and limitations
Your review is based only on the documents you provide. If pages are missing, illegible, amended, or superseded by documents we haven't seen, the review will be incomplete and may be wrong.
The analysis is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and is reviewed for general quality, not for your specific situation. It can make mistakes, including misreading text in scanned documents.
Before acting on anything in your review — signing, negotiating, demanding a release, or stopping the cashing of checks — consult a licensed oil and gas attorney in the state where your minerals are located.
Your information
By submitting documents and contact information, you confirm that you own or represent the mineral or royalty interest involved, and you consent to Glenside Resources storing your documents and contacting you about your minerals by email or phone.
We do not sell your information. You can ask us to delete your documents and information at any time by emailing [email protected].
Venue
These terms are governed by Texas law. Any dispute arising from the use of Lease Check will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Dallas County, Texas.
